About the Paraboot Brand

Founded in France in 1908, Paraboot is an iconic high-end footwear brand, renowned for its artisanal expertise and uncompromising quality standards.

Unlike most brands in the sector, Paraboot still designs and manufactures most of its shoes in its own workshops in Isère. The brand also controls the production of its natural rubber soles, guaranteeing exceptional durability, comfort, and resistance.

An icon of both authentic and timeless style, Paraboot has established itself with cult models like the Michael, the Avoriaz, and the Chambord, which transcend generations without ever losing their modernity.

Combining tradition, technical innovation, and functional elegance, Paraboot embodies a sustainable vision of luxury: shoes designed to last, develop a patina over time, and accompany their owners for many years.

Questions about Paraboot Repair

Common steps to repair a Paraboot include resoling, heel repair, replacing top pieces, and installing linings. Disassembling the shoe to replace worn parts is crucial. A good resole can revive the sole and extend the shoe’s lifespan.

Paraboot shoe repair generally takes between 2 to 5 business days for common repairs. For more complex interventions like resoling, it can take approximately 10 days. An express option can reduce the turnaround time to one business day for an additional fee.

Paraboot uses Norwegian welting, which attaches the upper to the sole with two visible stitches, and Goodyear welting, which shows a single stitch and allows for resoling. These techniques ensure waterproofing, durability, and resoling capability. They are performed by hand to guarantee quality and strength.
